Ben has worked as a music lead in a large London primary school, and in leadership in a Music Service. He has developed projects and partnership work to deliver high quality musical experiences for young musicians of all abilities and across a wide age range.

Having a wealth of experience delivering curriculum, instrumental and ensemble activity in both mainstream and SEND school settings, he has worked with music teachers and leadership teams to:

develop and deliver curriculum, including whole class instrument tuition
up skill workforce
develop inclusive and creative practice
develop whole class instrumental delivery and progression pathways
implement whole school singing initiatives

Ben has experience leading and delivering a range of instrumental and creative projects for young musicians from EYFS through to KS5. These have included:

the overseeing of planning and delivery of instrumental days
ensemble courses for all abilities
summer school courses and projects
composition and improvisation workshops with mixed ability groups

Ben regularly leads training and INSET sessions Music Hubs, PGCE students, and arts organisations.

Full day creative workshops to support curriculum and team building
Singing sessions to develop confidence in singing leadership
workshop planning and delivery skills
Curriculum, lesson planning and delivery
Behaviour management
Mentoring in music leadership
